The "Battle of Lyon County" between the West Lyon Wildcats and the Central Lyon Lions started in 1964. The inaugural game ended in 0-0 tie. Since then, the Wildcats and Lions would provide the football fans of Lyon County with many thrilling and hard hitting games. The Game officially became the "BEEF BOWL" in 2006.
